I loved that interview and Matty came across as a really nice, honest bloke. 'Although I played for Stoke West Ham are the club in my heart who I'll always support'.
Didn't dodge any questions about his gambling and admitted it affected him on the pitch to the point where he said that once it was under control and he started going to GA he won player of the year at Stoke.
Talked about loving the banter at West Ham and cited Noble calling Craig Bellamy Shergar as he had new really white teeth and Bellamy called Nobes Stuart Little.
A good watch.

Yeah bowyer called bellamy shergar and bellamy called bowyer stuart little.
Regards to Etherington, when he talked about Zola trying to help him with his back problem but he didnt want to listen to anything or anyone at the time time it sounded like he was really unhappy with himself for forcing himself out the door with us. Went up in my estimation.
The Reo-Coker stuff etc put a few rumours to bed.
